USC Mascot Traveler® 7 owned and trained by Joanne Asman

USC Mascot Traveler® 7, is an 19 year old Pure Spanish Andalusian gelding, owned and trained by Joanne Asman, and is a true ambassador of the Andalusian Breed. He has been a consistent winner in the show arena in several disciplines including several Championships. He has shown the versatility of this breed by performing at numerous events, and parades including six Tournament of Roses Parades.
Traveler® 7’s unique temperament allows him to perform well whether he is in front of 93,000 screaming fans at the USC Football games, on a theatre stage, in a show arena, walking on to a television sound stage, on Hollywood Boulevard for a film premier or just enjoying a ride in the hills on the trail. When he is not being “Traveler®” he keeps busy by appearing in magazines, TV, and Stage. He was featured in the recent Estee Lauder Ad campaign, in the September 2006 issue of Vogue Magazine, and on Cosmetic Counters Nationwide. Also on the June 2005 cover of Vogue Magazine with Salma Hayek, and on the TBS television show, “Extra – Dinner and a Movie”. He can be seen in films such as “Road to El Dorado”. He has appeared at movie openings including the movie “Troy”. Celebrities such as Salma Hayek, Fabio, Maria Conchito Alonso, Stefanie Powers, Mackenzie Rosman, Alex Cord, Fred Rogan, and Country Western Singer LeAnne Rimes have enjoyed riding him.
